Behind the Scenes has a rich and compelling history that originated in the mid-50s. The company embarked upon its journey in 1955 with a prolific music industry publication entitled "Behind the Scenes." In 1963, radio legend George "Hound Dog" Lorenz incorporated Behind the Scenes in Buffalo, New York. "Mickey Turntable" became the
pillar of the publication and was instrumental in the successful careers of numerous record and radio executives. Music industry veteran and visionary, Tony Johnson, reformatted the magazine and renamed it "Mickey Turntable's Behind the Scenes."

His exceptional and concentrated visionary skills expanded the company toward a more multi-media organization that includes the broadcast division.

Behind the Scenes is authentically committed to producing and delivering sound solutions for greater programming achievement.
