A fantastic fun filled show that's a true blast from the past! Everyone
loved George "The Hound Dog" Lorenz, a legend in the radio
industry who, at the age of 15, called his routine "movin and
grovin".
The Hound Dog's style paved the way for the most famous DJ celebrities
of the time: Wolfman Jack, Alan Freed, and the others who followed
them.
The founder of Behind the Scenes in 1955 in Buffalo, New York, The
Hound Dog was the first white DJ to play black music on FM radio,
WBLK - "the house that Hound built" - artists such as
Little Richard, Ray Charles, Chuck Berry, Fats Domino, Solomon Berke,
and the likes. The Hound Dog shows are his original shows repackaged!
